Prashant Kishor's predictions on BJP in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu

Big predictions made by Prashant Kishor for the BJP in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu before the Lok Sabha elections

In an interview with PTI, election strategist Prashant Kishor offered a number of predictions on the success of the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Prashant Kishor, a political strategist, predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would do well in the next Lok Sabha elections, particularly in the eastern and southern states. Strongholds of the opposition parties, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, are places where Prashant Kishor anticipated the BJP would emerge victorious.

Prashant Kishor recently made the prediction that the BJP, with a significant increase in its vote share in Tamil Nadu, can emerge as the leading party with the greatest number of seats in southern and eastern India in an interview with the news agency PTI.

"I saw the BJP in double digits in terms of vote share in Tamil Nadu for the first time," Kishor told PTI, repeating remarks he made a year ago. It is significant that the BJP will either be Telangana's leading party or its second. The electoral strategist went on, "They will undoubtedly be the top team in Odisha." You would be shocked since, in my opinion, the BJP will most likely win the most seats in West Bengal.

In the 520-seat Lok Sabha, the BJP has predicted that it will win more than 400 seats; however, Prashant Kishor thinks the saffron party is unlikely to win more than 370 seats. In the 543-member Lok Sabha, Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Kerala collectively hold 204 members. However, the BJP was unable to secure 50 seats in all these states combined, having won 29 and 47 seats in 2014 and 2019, respectively.

Over the years, the BJP has kept its hold on northern and western India, but Kishor believes that the party would only face pressure in the next elections if the opposition, particularly the Congress, ensures that the BJP loses at least 100 seats in these regions.

"Make comparision of the number of visits that the prime minister has finished to battleground states over the last five years with those made by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, or any other opposition leader." Kishor said, teasing Rahul Gandhi with his remarks. While you are traveling Manipur and Meghalaya, your fight is taking place in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. then how you're going to succeed.

The poll strategist commented, "There is no benefit if you win from Wayanad if you do not win in UP, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh," in response to Rahul Gandhi's hesitation to run for the Amethi seat. From a strategic standpoint, I can state that eliminating that area (Amethi) will only convey the incorrect message.
